If you are not already a library member, you can join at any of our  libraries  or online with the form below. If you complete the online registration form, you will be given a library card number, which you will be able to use to access all of our  online resources.

We are now issuing all library and advantage cards as digital only. Users will need to download our app.

If you are already a library member you DO NOT need to join again online to renew items or to get your Library Advantage Membership. You only need to download the App and sign in. 

You can join the library now for free using our online membership form. You can join at any age.

Library Advantage Membership

If you live in the Borough and would like an Advantage Membership please sign up if you're not already a library member and take a proof of address or your advantage card to your local library. 

If you are already a Library member you do not need to join again but you will need to show your proof of address or advantage card at your local library. 

If you are already a Library Advantage Member then you will automatically be transferred over to Library Advantage. You will only need to download the App and sign in.

If you choose a Library Advantage Membership you are accepting the Advantage Terms and Conditions.

Using your card in the library for the first time

You can use your membership number straight away in our library app. If you wish to borrow audio visual items from a library you will need to provide proof of address on the first occasion that you do so. You will also need to provide proof of address or show your advantage card to become a Library Advantage Member for the first time. 

Privacy

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Library and Resident Service is part of the SELMS consortium (South East Library Management System). Your borrower record will be held on a shared database but your details will only be available to staff in another authority if you choose to borrow or reserve items from that authority. All personal data is held strictly in accordance with the requirements of current Data Protection legislation. If you would like more information please see our privacy policy.
