Kim Jee-Woon directs this all-action crime thriller starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Gabriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega), the leader of a notorious drugs cartel, slips through the fingers of the FBI during a court hearing and speeds towards the Mexican border with a hostage in tow. With his crazed killer Burrell (Peter Stormare) clearing the route ahead in an armoured juggernaut, Cortez races for the border in a supercharged sports car. The only thing standing in his way is the small-town sheriff of Sommerton Junction, Ray Owens (Schwarzenegger), and his inexperienced staff. Just when it seems that Cortez is on his way to a home run, however, Owens and his rag-tag team step up to the plate with an array of weaponry that's guaranteed to win the day.
