Feature-length documentary about the late 'King of Pop' and the preparation for his final tour. Director Kenny Ortega (High School Musical 1-3), who also choreographed the routines for the shows, presents some extraordinary footage of Jackson as he creates and puts together what was supposed to be his last ever set of live shows. The 'This is it' tour, due to begin just a few weeks after Jackson's unexpected death, was to consist of a 100-date run at the O2 Arena in London. Behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage, filmed between April and June 2009, captures Jackson working with his dancers, singers, choreographers and many other people involved in the shows, and gives a rare insight into the legend at work.
