Marianna Palka writes, directs and stars in this independent film about a down-at-heel video store clerk (Jason Ritter) who becomes intrigued by an introverted and sexually dysfunctional woman (Palka) after she repeatedly visits the store to rent adult films. Emotionally stunted and defensive to the point of aggression, the woman initially resists his advances towards her, but the two fumble their way into an unusual relationship based primarily on a shared interest in pornography. Over time, it becomes clear to both of them that she has been profoundly affected by his presence in her life - but can this give her the courage she needs to face her troubled past?
